We maintain a bibliographic database covering titles in stock, titles in print, forthcoming titles and out of print titles. 7,300 children's titles were added last year by our team of bibliographical librarians using publishers' advance information, Whitakers Bookbank, and Bookdata. On line ordering is available through our Petranet site www.petranet.co.uk which gives access to our massive children's database, together with search and order facilities. Bibliographical records can be supplied in several formats, including UKMARC Fourth Edition, and data can be supplied by E-mail or by FTP. We encourage
the use of EDI for the fast and accurate transmission of your orders
to us. We were at the forefront of the development of standards
through BEDIS which is now part of BIC (Book Industry Communication),
and we work closely with First Edition as the preferred network. Lesley
