Showroom
Designed with librarians and teachers in mind, our multiple copy
showroom holds over 24,000 different titles, and provides the ideal
environment for selecting books for your library or classroom. With
around 200 new titles arriving each week, you are guaranteed an
inspiring selection whether you’re purchasing for libraries,
schools, nursery, primary or secondary levels. Showroom.
Location
Easily accessible from the motorway network, you will find free
parking on-site. Alternatively, New Street Station is a short walk
or taxi-ride away whilst the airport is only 20 minutes away. A
reviving cup of coffee and a chocolate biscuit await you at your

PetraNet
PetraNet, our Internet Enquiry and
Order service, provides all the facilities of the showroom without
leaving the office – or home!
Extensive search facilities allow customers access to daily updated
data on advance publications, newly published titles and over 100,000
retrospective titles, including the unique PBS evaluations.
Availability indicators display the stock-holding and print status
of titles, allowing you to research stock availability before visiting
the showroom or placing an order.
PetraNet provides electronic ordering facilities, profiled to customer
requirements and compatible with the use of Quotes messaging.
Customers can view Management Information, Order Tracking and also
download Bibliographical data for their orders.
The Profiled Lists and Bookshelf sections allow access to a range
of booklists created by the PBS team or by customers themselves.

over 200 SureStart projects already up and running, we are well
placed to provide participating schemes with not only books, but
quality play equipment, promotional leaflets,
and posters for display.

Any
book not in stock can be ordered from the publisher on your behalf.

processing
Saving you both time and money, a full complement of library processing
options at nominal cost is available. From plastic jackets and date
labels to Dewey classification and security triggers - your books
can arrive at your library or school ready for your readers.
Bibliographic
information
Bibliographic information can be supplied via email, and soon will be available to download direct from our website.
Discounts
Contracted library customers will be aware of the discounts available
to them. All purchases for schools are supplied at discounted prices.
Additional discounts are available for showroom visits, and for
major projects.
Delivery
Delivery is free throughout the UK. Delivery charges for schools
based further afield will be charged at cost.
Posters
and publicity material
A wide, and ever-changing array of posters, promotional material
and review magazines are available free of charge when you visit
our showroom.
