H Smith "People's Choice" Book Shortlists 14th

The
awaited shortlists for the WH Smith "People's Choice" Book
Awards, 2004 have now been announced.
Battling it out for the 'Teen choice award' are Jonathon Stroud, Celia
Rees, Philip Reeve, Mary Hoffman and Terry Pratchett. Whereas, Whitbread
winner Mark Haddon and J K Rowling are up against some of the year's
most acclaimed adult novels in the shortlist to find the best work
of fiction of 2003. Both shortlists are shown below and the winners
will be chosen by a public vote and announced at an awards ceremony
in London on 16th March. |
