Derby Reading Rocket Launch
Peters Bookselling Services has now been instrumental in the livery design of 6 mobile libraries for their contracted customers and this latest "Reading Rocket" for Derby Surestart has just launched into service.
The illustrations used are from Nick Sharratt's picture book "Rocket Countdown" and have made the giant step from page to vehicle fantastically well.
The pictures below show various aspects of the vehicle, together with Nick Sharratt and children, Nick with Jane Harrison from Derby City and Peter Sheldon from Peters, and Nick about to climb into the launch seat egged on by Peter.
Shown below are pictures of the interior shelving scheme, supplied by Peters. The shelves have been adapted from the shelf sitters featured in The Kit Shop Catalogue, providing the colourful face on display
