The Guardian Children's Fiction Prize Longlist. 30th July 2004.

The longlisted books for this year's fiction prize have now been announced. Eight books feature on the list and "triumphantly show the scope and quality of writing for children" - Julia Eccleshare, children's books editor and chair of the panel of judges..
