2004 Whitbread Children's Book Award Shortlist has now been announced.
Four titles were selected by a panel of judges which included Kevin
Crossley-Holland, |

winner will be announced on Wednesday 5th January 2005, and the
overall winner of the Whitbread Book of the Year will be selected
and announced at the Whitbread Book Awards ceremony in central London
on Tuesday 25th January 2005. |
