| Val
Rutt has been appointed the first Writer in Residence at the Roald
Dahl Museum and Story Centre in Great Missenden, Bucks, the village
in which the writer lived. It's a fantastic start for the year for
Val who was featured in issue 5 of tBkmag as an author

Warner
Brothers has provided the venue with scaled-down replicas of the
Willy Wonka gates used in Tim Burton's film of the novel, and they
will open to the public on 10th June. However Val will be in place
from 14 March, during the preview phase. "I'm delighted and
honoured," she said. Roald Dahl's work means so much to so
many children, and I'm looking forward to working on some fabulous
projects there."
