Posters,
information booklets, magazines, and author contacts, are all part
of the amazing array of promotional initiatives available to our
contracted library customers. The following is a brief summary of
our promotional activities. |

Sharing
Books at Bedtime : A popular
leaflet filled with tips on reading aloud to young children, a cause
much championed by Children's Laureate Jacqueline Wilson. With a large
initial print run, libraries and especially SureStarts are using this
leaflet with much success across the country.

Alex
Rider Spy School
- A new addition to our popular range of reader development initiatives,
this time encouraging boys to develop their reading range within the
sub-context of training to become a spy just like Anthony Horowitz's
Alex Rider.
With a striking design and in-depth booklist this initiative is incredibly
popular across the UK library network and a useful resource for any
library or school. |

Talking
with your Baby
- is our new fold out six page information leaflet for parents and
carers, developed in association with Hampshire Library & Information
Services. Ideal for library giveaways and introduction packs, and
perfect for SureStart schemes.

Books
for Caring
- The publication details books and information for sharing with looked
after children. There's 32 pages of text - some 150 titles - arranged
into categories which include Adoption & Fostering, Child Abuse,
Bullying and Bereavement. The booklet also features an introduction
from Benjamin Zephaniah.

Story Tower Adventure Park
is our new fold-out reader development initiative for 5-8 year olds,
which has been developed in association with Surrey Libraries.

is an annual publication, compiled and edited by our staff, of the
publishers to watch out for in children's books. It's a veritable
"who's who" of children's publishing. |

The
Promotions Pack - mailed to contracted libraries every
2 months, keeps you up to date with book prizes, promotions and marketing
campaigns on the children's book front.
The pack also offers mini promotions to help with children's activities. |

Information
Booklets for libraries and schools to help parents
and carers cope with aspects of life and reading encouragement.
High profile endorsements include Max Clifford, Floella Benjamin,
and Gary Lineker.

magazine.This
is our new reader development initiative which we launched in the
summer of 2003 with the intention of promoting great books to keen
readers wherever they are. Targeted at 8 to 12 year olds, who may
be part of a Reading Group or shadowing the Carnegie Awards or just
a regular library user, tBk is packed full of books, authors and illustrators
and much much more. The magazine is produced quarterly and available

Peters Calendar.
Strictly for our customers this one, it's a very special calendar
prepared in association with Andersen Press, featuring the cream of
our illustrators. Some customers now have collections of the previous
