The third School Library Association Members' Day
to be held at Peters
It was with great pleasure that Peters hosted yet another successful SLA Members' Day last week – the third in a row.
Forty delegates enjoyed talks from Raintree, Hachette, Jayne Truran from the Federation of Children's Book Groups, Tricia Adams of the SLA and Paul Mason, the author of many non-fiction works, including Frauds and Counterfeits (Solve it With Science) and The Iraq War.
The overall theme of the day was non-fiction, in anticipation of the forthcoming National Non-Fiction Day, which takes place on the 4th November.
After a book signing session with Paul Mason, the delegates tucked into a networking lunch, and later many made the most of an exclusive buying opportunity in the Peters showroom.
