PETERS NEWS: SLA Members' Day

The third School Library Association Members' Day to be held at Peters

It was with great pleasure that Peters hosted yet another successful SLA Members' Day last week - the third in a row.

Forty delegates enjoyed talks from Raintree, Hachette, Jayne Truran from the Federation of Children's Book Groups, Tricia Adams of the SLA and Paul Mason, the author of many non-fiction works, including Frauds and Counterfeits (Solve it With Science) and The Iraq War.

The overall theme of the day was non-fiction, in anticipation of the forthcoming National Non-Fiction Day, which takes place on the 4th November.

After a book signing session with Paul Mason, the delegates tucked into a networking lunch, and later many made the most of an exclusive buying opportunity in the Peters showroom.
